If travelling by Public Transport please note the following:
Closest train station if cycling: Chelsfield or Knockholt
Most frequent trains from London to: Orpington
Buses to the Centre from Orpington: R5/R10 (please obtain timetables available from the internet)
The stop you need is The Blacksmith’s Arms, then you walk down New Barn Lane to the centre.
Buses from Bromley South: 246 (please obtain timetables available from the internet)
Alternative station: Oxted
Bus from Oxted: 594 (please obtain timetables available from the internet)
The stop you need is at the TOP of Westerham Hill, then walk down (about two miles)– there is a garden centre seen opposite The SHAMPAN AT THE SPINNING WHEEL, which is set back from the main road. Immediately take the left-hand fork (Buckhurst Road) which goes to the left of the Shampan restaurant. After one mile Buckhurst Road becomes New Barn Lane (continue past Berry’s Green Road unless you are a coach and need to turn here) and the Centre is a further 300m on the left.
